Scholarship Winner 2008
I always wanted to be something in my life but never had enough resources to achieve my dreams. Soon after, successfully scoring an A* results in Matric board exams, I was nominated for ZSSP scholarship and was fortunately awarded, in 2008.
During my academic career I explored that I am good in Computer Science. So, I set my goal to do MSCS.
My life goal was to be able to earn enough to support my family.
Getting a ZSSP scholarship, was the turning point of my life, I was enthusiastic to learn, and was relieved of financial burden. The combination gave me a kick-start to work on my dreams. I worked really hard and successfully completed 6 years of scholarship with my outstanding results. Now I am the only one who has an Honors degree in the family.
Later in my professional career, I worked as a liaison, web developer, freelancer and finally became a teacher, with successfully producing remarkable results in Cambridge O level Computer Science. I believe, hard work pays off and consistent hard work leads to success.
ZSSP scholarship has filled my life with courage and given me the power of knowledge. Now I want to work for the same cause “education”. So, I may enlighten someone else’s life.
