Scholarship Winner 2011
After completing my BS (Hons) in Biotechnology from University of the Punjab, Lahore I am working as a Science Teacher in High Section of Ala-ud-Din Academy Girls High School (ALDA).
One of the worth-mentioning turning points in my life is to get Zarina Shamim Scholarship because it made me able to stand at time when I was in dire need of it. After my matriculation, my family was in immense financial crises. So, at that time, it was extremely tough and burdensome for me to continue my studies. This scholarship not only gives me financial support but a confidence to believe in my abilities and to pursue my career with ease and passion.
Members of this program (ZSSP) always supported me whenever and wherever I need them. It’s also because of this program that I am working with dedication and motivation in ALDA.
I always try to learn new skills in my field of biotechnology as well as in teaching field. This all collectively proves to be very helpful in delivering advance knowledge to my students.
Lastly, I would just say… Zarina Shamim Scholarship Program (ZSSP) is like never-ending process of serving humanity, as it gives its achievers a sense to serve further in their lives. It is a great cause to serve humanity in education sector. It gives opportunities to competent and deserving students to pursue their academics ultimately leading towards a promising career.
